MW2 ‘Terminal’ map coming to Modern Warfare 3

Popular Modern Warfare 2 map, Terminal, will be coming to Modern Warfare 3 "soon", according to Infinity Ward's executive producer Mark Rubin.

After fans spotted gameplay footage of the map on YouTube, Rubin confirmed that Terminal will be heading to Modern Warfare 3, though no release date has been announced. The date of arrival for the free map is expected to be announced this week, however.

For those who didn't play Modern Warfare 2, Terminal is a multiplayer map (my personal favorite) based on the campaign mission "No Russian", which has players perform the controversial act of murdering innocent civilians. The map features a small outdoor cargo area, terminal area filled with bars and small shops, and an airplane that was popular to camp in.

As with all other MW3 DLC, Terminal will be released first on Xbox 360 before arriving on PS3 and PC. According to Rubin, they "have to maintain the 30 day difference", likely due to legal reasons.

As you know by now, all DLC for Modern Warfare 3 releases first on Xbox 360, even in the case of free content. Microsoft ensured this early DLC exclusivity for Xbox 360 with this year's Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, although though the Nuketown 2025 pre-order bonus map will arrive on all platforms at launch.
