The nunchuk controls the shield. Push it forward and up to block an attack. The Wii-mote is the sword – pull it out and then swing it side-to-side for slashing moves or down for a powerful overhead attack. Block, parry and attack the openings and your opponents will fall.
The Wii MotionPlus plays a key role in the upcoming Nintendo title The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. It’s going to be a bit of a workout, but the overall effects leave a sense of accomplishment and a little sweat.
The actual hands-on time at E3 was very brief, a couple of quick battles, some experimentation with the controls and a fight with a mini-boss. Still, the action and control scheme worked well together and the interface was accessible.
The game looked pretty good as well.
