A next-generation version of a previously released title on the Xbox and PlayStation to will be making its way to the Wii instead of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
According to British gaming publication NGamer, Scarface: The World is Yours will be heading to the Wii in the upcoming months. The title, which was previously planned for release on the Xbox 360 before being cancelled, will have a control scheme similar to that of Ubisoft’s Red Steel. The Wii remote acts as a pointing device, effectively controlling the gun on-screen. Melee combat is also planned,with players being able to sever legs and heads, with the sound of the chainsaw emitting from the Wii remotes speaker.
No concrete release date has been set, but we expect the title to be released to US shores sometime within the year. Stay tuned to AMN Wii for more on this upcoming title as it more information becomes available.
