Thanks to Steam Early Access, we get some early looks at some pretty awesome games as they're being developed, patched and updated. This time, we play some Mercenary Kings, a pretty sweet retro platformer/shooter in the vein of games like Contra from Tribute Games.
The game has you playing as one of two mercenaries, who are out to not only kill any enemy they see on screen, but to gather materials for some sweet upgrades and to customize their weaponry, which happens to be one of Mercenary Kings' selling features.
Watch us take on a mission and kill some dudes by making their heads explode. Yeah, that's right, heads will explode!
