Microsoft today announced that, as a result of feedback from gamers,
Controller S will now become the standard Xbox game pad and will be
packaged will all new Xbox consoles.
The Controller S was originally sold only in Japan as it was thought that
Japanese gamers would have to struggle to get their hands around the
larger standard Xbox controller. But public demand eventually forced
Microsoft into releasing the pad in the US and Europe.
Original Xbox controllers will still be sold separately at retail while stocks
last.
