Square Will Charge for Final Fantasy WiiWare DLC

In what seems like no time at all, Square Enix has revealed that their premiere WiiWare title, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King will feature content that players will have to pay to download.

So, what does one get? According to Square Enix, the answer to that question is access to new and exciting races to recruit into your party. If you know what a Yuke, Lilty or Selky is, then you probably have some idea of what exactly that means to the well-being of the party, too.

But that’s not all; players can let their inner-cosplayers run free as new costumes will be available for Leo and Chancellor Chime. Though pricing is not yet known, it’s expected to fall into the 100-300 Wii Point range, more likely towards the lower end. Buildings to recruit races in are said to be coming as well, but again, prices are unknown.
