Shadowrun Demo Headed to Xbox Live June 6

FASA today announced that their anticipated Xbox 360 FPS, Shadowrun, will be headed to Xbox Live Marketplace as a demo on June 6th, 2007; which is a week after the game’s release in North America. The reason for the post-release demo is due to the Halo 3 multiplayer beta. FASA had said that they want players to “focus their attention and time on Shadowrun.”

Shadowrun will be the first cross-platform multiplayer title for the Xbox 360 and PC. Utilizing Xbox Live and Games For Windows Live network, Shadowrun will allow for both Xbox 360 and PC gamers to duke it out between 16 others online. Shadowrun features humans, elves, dwarves and trolls as playable races.

Shadowrun is due out May 29, rated “M” for Mature, and will carry a retail price of $59.99 for Xbox 360 and $49.99 for Windows Vista.
