Inside-Games is reporting that Sega’s 8-bit console, the Sega Master System, will be offering titles to the Wii’s virtual Console starting February in Japan.
The first two titles for the system will be Fist of the North Star (600 pts) and Fantasy Zone (500 pts). The extra 100 points will help off licensing which was also used on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle game on the NES.
Nintendo Wii Fanboy points out that because the Game Gear and Master System use identical hardware, handheld titles will also be available for download. No official announcements have been made but expect other territories to receive these titles some time after Japan.
