Many people have been unhappily vocal about the lineup of games Nintendo had for the Wii come Christmastime last year, with Animal Crossing: City Folk being their big title to push. And as rumor has it, among those unhappy with the lineup were none other than Nintendo themselves.
As the story goes, it was not always to be this way; Nintendo was eager to present Kid Icarus for the Wii at E3 and have it ready to ship that Fall. However, due to problems with Factor 5, that fell through, leaving Nintendo of America feeling “pretty bummed.”
Of course, if the other rumor about Factor 5 shutting down (haven’t really heard anything more one way or the other on that) hold any water, one has to wonder which rumor is the cause, and which is the effect?
