As it turns out, people are playing more than just Wii Sports and Wii Fit on everyone’s favorite waggle controlled video game console.
Usage stats for the Wii show that RPG fans are surprisingly willing to play their games with Wii Remotes and Nunchuks in hand. Everyone expects Wii Sports and Super Smash Bros. near the top of the hours played list, but who would’ve guessed that Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (average hours played among Nintendo Channel users are 31 and 44 respectively) would be holding their own as well?
I’m not a betting man, but the smart money says we’ll be seeing more RPGs on Nintendo’s home console. Personally I’m hoping for an updated remake of The Magic of Scheherazade.
