A CNN report with Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aime shows that the main man of NOA isn’t taking Microsoft and Sony too lightly. According to Reggie, he feels that the two companies have “put themselves in a box” regarding their decision to invest heavily in expensive technology.
These companies have “gone down the path with building expensive machines that they lose money on. They’ve gone down the path with games that are hard to develop,” Fils-Aime shared.
While it’s true that they are losing money, software sales on the Xbox 360 (and, to a lesser extent) PS3 look just dandy.
“They’ve put themselves in a box. I don’t know how they’re going to get out of it”, he added.
