Opera Software today announced the release of its intuitive web browsing software for the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite.
“With the DS Browser, Nintendo continues to expand the possibilities for users of this tremendously popular game platform,” said Scott Hedrick, EVP of marketing at Opera Software. “Opera is excited to work with Nintendo to bring the easy and accessible way to browse the internet to DS lovers in North America.”
The software is being offered in two forms – one for the DS Lite and one for the original DS model. Consumers looking for the DS Lite edition will readily find it in retailers nationwide, while those shopping for the version compatible with the original model must place an order at Nintendo.com.
