After going through the financial results for the current fiscal year, Nintendo reported that New Super Mario Brothers on Nintendo DS has sold 19,940,000 units worldwide so far. Also, keep in mind the game came out in 2006.
Mario Kart DS has sold 16,090,000 to date and Mario Kart Wii trails behind New Super Mario Brothers with 18,360,000 units sold.
I can’t even imagine the numbers that New Super Mario Bros. Wii is going to produce. I do know that I cannot wait to play that game so you can count me in on being a part of the 50 gazillion that sells.
