In the latest issue of Famitsu, it has been confirmed that Marvelous Entertainment is working on a sequel to this year’s Japanese release of Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness for the Nintendo DS.
Titled Harvest Moon: Sun and Friends, this game features the two playable characters from the previous game, Mark and Chelsea. This time around however, players will find themselves situated on Sunflower Islands. Players will have to gain the friendship of the local villagers in addition to making use of wild animals to help in the completion of everyday chores.
Other new features include the ability to find special stones which will allow players to visit new islands. You will also be able to hook up with your friends over Wi-Fi to voice chat and trade items.
Players will be able to get their hands on the game this winter in Japan, and in the mean time you can expect AMN to follow up on any more details surrounding this game.
