Although the Xbox 360 has struggled to pick up steam in Japan, it hasn’t been due to a lack of effort.
Microsoft’s next-generation console has already seen numerous attempts to reach the core gamer in Japan. Today’s announcement of Infinite Undiscovery adds to the growing list of RPG exclusives, something Microsoft hopes will help turn fortunes in Japan.
Takashi Sensui, head of the Xbox division in Japan, went on record stating that the company promises to provide Japanese consumers with exclusive RPGs. “The Xbox 360 is the most exciting game machine on the marketâ€, Sensui said. “We are going all out in a year-end competition against rivals.”
Gamers everywhere are likely to catch a glimpse of the new projects at this year’s Tokyo Game Show in just over a week.
