Ah, finally… we get to have a glimpse of what the ex-Team Ninja and Super Smash Bros. Brawl guys have been doing all this time.
I don’t think we can call this actual “in-game” footage, as there seems to be enough camera trickery going on to make it look impressive, though from what I’ve seen so far, it could still be running off the engine. Sort of a real-time cutscene that shows what some of the fighting will be like, in other words.

Nice homage to the old 80’s logo there, and the weapon-throwing looks interesting, as does the clashing weapons– are these actual game mechanics, or just something for show?
Yeah, still no word on who’s going to be on the roster– wouldn’t it be great if they pulled a page from Masahiro Sakurai’s playbook, though, and began doing daily updates, revealing this little detail or that about the game? Would anyone else even stay up for that, as so many of us did for “Japan Time?”
