Media: Red Steel 2 – Offscreen Footage

Two new videos of Red Steel 2 have surfaced from the game’s recent appearances at the MicroMania Games Show 2009 in Paris, as well as eGames 2009.

The first comes from nintendo-difference.com via GoNintendo, and shows some basic gameplay from early in the game, along with a few other low-key elements we haven’t heard about before, such as how to use the MotionPlus to get through a door.

The next is considerably longer, clocking in at over nine and a half minutes, and seems to start at the very beginning of the game:

Vooks, who made the above video, has their impressions of the game (as well as Rabbids Go Home) here (via GoNintendo). They note that the game runs at a smooth 60 frames per second, and that “spamming the waggle” won’t get you anywhere– Red Steel 2 requires a bit more finesse, a more methodical touch.
