Lost Planet Requires 5GB Download

PS3 Style Reports that their pre-release copy of Lost Planet for the PS3 requires a 5GB installation.

Much like Capcom’s other PS3 title, Devil May Cry 4, it appears that Lost Planet: Extreme Condition will require players to sit through the 15-20 minute download for speedier load times while playing the game.

This is the second title from Capcom to require this download and so far they are the only developer to make it a requirement. Unless you’re using your PS3 like a fridge, owning both of these games will taking up anywhere from 1/16 to 1/2 of your hard drive space.

Remember, you can always install your own hard drive.
