LittleBigPlanet GOTY Edition to Include $30 of Bonus Content

It looks like the impending release of LittleBigPlanet Game of the Year edition is finally upon us with confirmation from Amazon… or at least confirmation that was on Amazon. It appears that after IGN posted an article sharing this news (you can check it out under the source link), Amazon removed the listing from their site.

Regardless, according to the pre-order listing that was once in existence, the game was priced at $49.99. In addition, the boxart has been slightly altered (pictured on right). As you can tell from the cover, it says, “Includes Bonus Content valued at over $30!” While there was no apparent release date or specifics as to what the bonus content will be, you can bet Sony will fill us in very soon.

Still, it’s perplexing as to why Amazon pulled the page. Is it in fact a phony listing? I highly doubt that. Perhaps it was a slip on their part and they listed it before its intended debut. We’ll fill you in as soon as we know more.
