I cannot wait until we finally get some damn usable screenshots of this game, so we can quit punctuating our stories with that stupid logo.
That said, the new issue of Nintendo Power recently took the opportunity to speak with Gordon Hall, President of Rockstar Leeds about the upcoming DS installment in the Grand Theft Auto franchise, Chinatown Wars. And what he had to say about the size and scope of the game was quite interesting.
“Chinatown Wars is much bigger than anything we have ever done before [in terms of scope]: more odd jobs, deeper missions, and more moments of over-the-top action. We have a huge interaction with the Rockstar Social Club, a massive [narcotics trafficking] game that would stand alone on its own. The list goes on and on; this thing is huge. We are very proud of all of the PSP games we have made, especially the two GTA games, but this game is far bigger.”
Glad to see that smaller size and smaller power won’t necessarily equal a smaller game.
