Hey bro, the Sasquatch Music Fest lineup is lookin’ pretty rad: M.I.A., Modest Mouse, Death Cab for Cutie…and wait, Marcus Fenix?!?
Microsoft’s console is going to be the sponsor for the main stage of the summer indie music festival (not so indie anymore, eh), and there will be playable kiosks all around, even a stage for playing Rock Band in front of a crowd. Most interestingly though, a playable beta level of Gears of War 2 will be present.
As the Xbox calendar of events reads:
“Look for 19 kiosks throughout the gorge where you can sample various first and third-party Xbox 360 games — including even a beta level of Gears of War 2!”
I’ve been wanting to go to Sasquatch since a friend of mine saw the Arcade Fire there, and now that my two favorite things in life, indie music and gory third-person shooters, are coming together, I am so there. So if you’re hellbent on ratcheting up your hipster cred while getting a sneak peek at one of the biggest 360 releases of the year, Sasquatch is clearly the place to be.
Hold on, I gotta update my Twitter with this news.
