The PS3 version of EA Sports Grand Slam Tennis might become one of the first games to utilize Sony’s new motion controller next spring. The unveilings of Sony’s and Microsoft’s motion controller solutions might have caused the delay of the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of that game.
When Grand Slam Tennis was announced first on the Wii, the eventual release of PS3 and Xbox 360 versions was confirmed. They were originally set to release some time later this year, but nothing has been heard on either version.
The Wii version of the game was one of the first to use the Wii Motion Plus. According to Gamezine.co.uk, EA Sports head Peter Moore was so impressed with the PS3 motion controller and Natal at E3 2009 that he had the other versions of Grand Slam Tennis delayed into 2010. Gamezine also speculates that the Xbox 360 version might be delayed to the release of Natal
