Engadget is reporting that the 65nm “Falcon” chipset, rumored to added to Xbox 360’s this fall, have already begun shipping.
After opening the case of a recently purchased 360, Engadget took pictures of what they believe are the new chip sets. The advantage of the smaller chips are cooler running systems.
With previous issues with the Xbox 360 blamed on over-heating, these new chips should solve those issues. So far, no official announcement has been made by Microsoft.
