DK Bongo Blast Drops the Bongos and Picks Up a Remote

Famitsu has revealed that DK Bongo Blast will be coming to the Wii later this year and will utilize the Wii remote and Nunchuk according to The Wire.

Originally announced for the GameCube, DK Bongo Blast is a racing game that uses the Bongo Controller for the GameCube. Now set for the Wii, the four player DK Bongo Blast will use the Wii remote and Nunchuck as the bongos.

Players will shake either controller to stear and jump by raising both controllers. Bongo Controller compatibility has not been confirmed. The Famitsu article put the Japanese release date at June 28.
