We take a look at the first mission in Call of Duty: Advanced Warefare by Activision. The first thing we notice is silky smooth framerates and realistic textures and lighting. The emotion is visible on the characters faces and the acting is better than ever. COD:AW does a good job of walking you through the basics inside the sory, so you can get right into the action and the story without having to go through boring basic training missions.
After just the first level we feel like the future is a scary place, but the technology isn't so good that you don't need real solidiers on the ground to truly get the job done.
In this mission you are tasked with your first real combat mission. you have only been in the Marines for 6 months and the nerves are clearly visible.
North Korea has attacked South Korea and your job is to get in and push North Korea back.
