Blazing Angels Sequel Exposed

When the sequel to last year’s Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII appeared on retail listings earlier this month and was confirmed for a spring release in Ubisoft’s financial earnings report last week, there were surprisingly few details for a game due just around the corner. Today, Ubisoft officially raised the curtain on its top-secret mission, giving avid pilots a little clue about what they can expect when the Secret Missions get underway this spring.

Blazing Angels Secret Missions puts players in the role of a veteran World War II pilot tasked with flying experimental, cutting-edge aircraft in top-secret missions around the world. While completing objectives near exotic locales like Rome, Paris, Moscow, Cairo and the Himalayas, players will face off against the most lethal experimental weapons of the Third Reich as they struggle to prevent the Germans from building an unstoppable super weapon.

In addition to the new single-player campaign and upgraded visuals, Blazing Angels Secret Missions will also benefit from some new online features, including the ever-popular Capture the Flag mode and a Battlefield-esque Epic Battle mode, which pits two sizeable teams against one another in a large-scale battle complete with conquerable bases and secondary objectives that will help turn the tide in your team’s favor.

Blazing Angels Secret Missions is scheduled for release on the Xbox 360 and PC this spring. Stay tuned to AMN for more on the game as we approach its release.
