Ever since Electronic Arts purchased BioWare, there has been speculation as to what platform(s) future installments in the Mass Effect trilogy would be on. The developer put some of the guesswork to end regarding Mass Effect 2, though, when it said today that the sequel will ship on Xbox 360, exclusively – at least at first.
“I believe we’ll be Xbox 360 exclusive for at least a short period of time,” BioWare senior manager Matt Atwood told CVG. “We’re still working out the details on that, but we’ve had a great relationship with Microsoft and done very well.”
