Riddle me this, riddle me that; who wants to play with the big, black bat?
For those undecided on that particular query, you will soon have the opportunity to make a more informed decision, as Eidos has confirmed that the consumer demo for Batman: Arkham Asylum will sweep across the night sky this Friday, August 7th on Xbox LIVE Arcade, the PlayStation Network, and yes, even the PC.
Spend a few weeks lurking in the shadows, and you should have a better idea of whether or not you want to give Eidos (and now, Square-Enix by extension, I suppose) your money come the North American release on August 25th, and in Europe on the 28th.

Batman: Arkham Asylumâ„¢ Demo Available August 7
The consumer demo for Batman: Arkham Asylumâ„¢, co-published in North America by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Eidos Inc., will be available for the Xbox 360Â® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATIONÂ®3 entertainment system and Games For WindowsÂ® LIVE worldwide on August 7. The full game will be available at retail stores nationwide in North America beginning August 25, and in Europe and Australia beginning August 28.
