Assault Heroes Racing to Xbox Live

With the release of Small Arms and RoboBlitz on the Xbox Live Arcade over the past couple weeks, Xbox 360 owners are getting a small taste of what they can expect from the downloadable original titles on Xbox Live. This week, yet another new game lands on the Xbox Live Marketplace in Assault Heroes.

Assault Heroes is a top-down perspective shooter from Sierra Online that puts players in the shoes of an assault squad member searching for the entrance to a secret enemy laboratory. Featuring gameplay reminiscent of classics like Commando and Ikari Warriors, Assault Heroes lets you wipe out waves of enemies behind the wheel of armed 4x4s and speedboats or face them on foot. The game features numerous weapons that will help you go it alone or take on your enemies with a friend over Xbox Live.

Developed by Wanako Studios, Assault Heroes will be available for download on the Xbox Live Marketplace this Wednesday at 1am PST for a price of 800 Microsoft points ($10).
