Activision Reveals Full Guitar Hero On Tour: Modern Hits Tracklist

The newest handled iteration of Guitar Hero, entitled Guitar Hero On Tour: Modern Hits, has been assumed to contain, well, modern hits. Activision confirmed the tracklist today 1UP, and the song selection is indeed full of tracks that are sure to please the teenage crowd. Admittedly, I don’t know more than a handful of these songs (by the bands that don’t suck), so I might just be old or out of touch. From what I can see, the oldest song on here dates back to 2002. Not a bad time frame, especially since all previous games have focused on mostly classic tracks (not counting DLC, but DS doesn’t have that benefit). And of course, Modern Hits will be able to play the songs in previous games for multiplayer action when linked wirelessly with a friend that owns them.

Gutiar Hero On Tour: Modern Hits’ confirmed tracklist is as follows:

12 Stones – “Adrenalin”
AFI – “Miss Murder”
Angels & Airwaves – “Call to Arms”
Atreyu – “Falling Down”
Black Tide – “Shockwave”
Coldplay – “Violet Hill”

Evanescence – “Sweet Sacrifice”
Fall Out Boy – “This ain’t a scene, It’s an Arms Race”
