Action RPG Steel Princess Announced for the DS in Japan

Climax Entertainment, the company behind Sega Genesis’ Landstalker, will be returning to the action RPG genre with Steel Princess for the DS.

This latest action-RPG wil utilize both screens of the DS and is sure to offer plenty of puzzles, enemies and skills. The game will feature sprite based characters on a polygonal map to explore the action.

The story behind the game is that a a princess bandit is out to steal treasure from the Demon King. Named Anis, this Steal Princess is rumored to be the princess of her former land.

Steal Princess is currently set to release in Japan in 2008 while no date for the US has been released. Expect more details as the release date approaches.
