I'm quite obsessed with D3Publisher's match-3 game Marvel Puzzle Quest. It combines the two things I love: Marvel and match-3 games. And due to the ease of access of having the game on my Android, I easily play Marvel Puzzle Quest more than any other game I own. It's constantly being updated with new events, characters, and fixes.
While the game see a steady stream of new characters — with recent additions from Avengers: Age of Ultron like Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and Vision — there are a few that aren't in the game that I can't wrap my head around. It seems like they'd be so perfect. Now, I'm no Marvel expert, and I'm sure my powers ideas would break Marvel Puzzle Quest, but here are 10 characters I'd like to see come to the game (and I even gave the probability of them joining).
Nova is a lot of Marvel fans' favorite character. I actually don't know anyone that doesn't like Nova. We might see him come in sooner rather than later, as Guardians of the Galaxy gets more popular. And he's a big hit in properties like Ultimate Spider-Man and Disney Infinity 2.0.
Probability: 60 %
Gambit is my personal favorite character. He's a master thief, has that cajun style to him, and has a freakin' bo staff and playing cards. How is he not already in the game? I'd say he's a lock seeing as how Channing Tatum will be playing him in a X-Men: Apocalypse and a Gambit movie.
Probability: 100% (Please…)
D3Publisher is dropping the ball with this one, just like Fox dropped the ball with Rogue in the X-Men movies. Rogue is one of the best super heroes, and there's so much potentional in Marvel Puzzle Quest with the powers she has. She takes other mutants' powers for crying out loud!!!
I actually love Emma Frost's story. And seeing that Cyclops is now in Marvel Puzzle Quest, there's some nice story that could be explored there between the two characters. X-Men characters have slowly trickled into the game, but I'm sure there are others higher up on the list.
This is only a matter of time, right? Ant-Man is about to come out in theaters at the end of the month. There's no way that we don't see Ant-Man shortly follow with an entrance into Marvel Puzzle Quest. His powers also provide interesting opportunities in the game.
I admit, I'm not that familiar with Jessica Jones. But I just got done watching Daredevil on Netflix and loved it. Other characters that will have their own Netflix shows are Luke Cage and Iron Fist, and all three of those characters are already in the game. So, like, add Jessica Jones.
A lot of Spider-Man fans love Miles Morales. I've actually never met anyone that doesn't like the character. And every five to seven years when the Spider-Man films get rebooted, people always mention that Miles Morales should be in the next Spider-Man film. Unfortunately, that isn't going to happen any time soon, so it's up to D3Publisher to set things right.
He's not my favorite of the X-Men… not even in the top five. But Iceman is a long-time member of the team and should be in the game. Plus, off the top of my head, is there anyone in the game that has ice powers?
I figured that Jean Grey would be one of the quickest mutants to get added into the game, seeing as how she's such a big factor in X-Men. And she's freaking Phoenix! So go make a 3-star Jean Grey and 4-star Phoenix. Also, Sansa Stark is now playing her in X-Men: Apocalypse, so there's no way she isn't added around that time.
Nightcrawler is another of the X-Men that has been re-cast and added to X-Men: Apocalypse. So much like D3Publisher did with Age of Ultron characters, I expect characters like Nightcrawler to get added around the release of Apocalypse. Plus, bamfing would be fun.
