Yuke’s Releases New
Trailer for D1 Grand Prix
Drift Racing is red hot! If you don’t believe us, just ask the folks at CNN
or CBS News, who both just ran features on the growing sport. Out in the desert of Las Vegas last weekend, scores of fans turned up for the
latest US D1 Grand Prix event – which will be broadcast on ESPN 2 later this
month. Most importantly, Yuke’s America, an official sponsor of the D1 Grand Prix
(and crowd-favorite ‘Team Orange’) will be bringing out the first authentic
simulation of drift racing, D1 Grand Prix for the PlayStation(r)2. They have
also released a new trailer highlighting the drifting gameplay featured in D1
Grand Prix.

D1 Grand Prix recreates the exhilarating art of drifting, including all the cars, tracks, drivers and physics that has made the D1 Grand Prix the pinnacle series in drift racing. Players will be able to select from 39 American and Japanese drivers, as well as vehicles from Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Subaru, Pontiac, and more.
