Wrestling Federation Comes to Next Generation Handheld System

ANGELES, Calif., – Electronic Entertainment Expo – May 17, 2001 – THQ Inc.
(NASDAQ NMS: THQI) and JAKKS Pacific, Inc. (NASDAQ NMS: JAKK) today announced
WWF Road to Wrestlemania(tm) for Nintendo(r)”s Game Boy(r) Advance handheld
system. This high energy wrestling title is scheduled to release holiday
season, 2001.

Superstars, WWF Road to Wrestlemania will be an incredible handheld wrestling
experience that takes full advantage of the Game Boy Advance technology,"

by Natsume, WWF Road to Wrestlemania for Game Boy Advance features five
in-depth game modes, including exhibition and season. Players can select from
24 top WWF Superstars and compete in six different match types in seven
different venues. From two-man tag to cage to submission, the most popular
matches are represented. With the most in-depth gameplay of any handheld
wrestling title, players can take the drama of the World Wrestling Federation
with them everywhere they go.

 

Also
currently in development and licensed by the World Wrestling Federation are
WWF SmackDown!(tm) "Just Bring It" for the PlayStation(r)2 computer
entertainment system, WWF Raw Is War(tm) for the Xbox(tm) video game system
and WWF Betrayal(tm) for Nintendo”s Game Boy(r) Color handheld system. All
three titles are scheduled to reach store shelves during the second half of
