[Watch] Yooka-Laylee reveals local co-op and multiplayer in new trailer

It feels like I'm back in the N64 days...

Yooka-Laylee is a blast from the past in all the right ways for 90's kids. Yes, it may scream the fact that it's a lot like Banjo-Kazooie, but that's part of its charm. Banjo-Kazooie was one of the greatest games of its time, and this brand new trailer that developer Playtonic Games has put out shows off another thing 90's kids will love local co-op.

The multiplayer modes will take place in a level called Rextro's Arcade, which is run by the aptly named "dated dino." I'm beginning to wonder how many "I'm old" jokes this game has got. In total, there are eight different multiplayer games that players can take part in. The games range from obstacle courses to kart racing and fit up to four players.

Yooka-Laylee is not far off from release, and it was recently revealed to be coming out on April 11th, 2017.
