[Watch] Titanfall 2 reveals the next DLC heading your way alongside a free-to-play weekend

As promised, Respawn has returned this week with another reveal and update on Titanfall 2. Starting next week on March 30th, all Titanfall 2 owners will be getting some free DLC, headlined by a new map that fans of the first game are sure to recognize, a remastered version of Colony. Yes, Respawn is bringing back the old favorite to the new game, alongside a new weapon, the R-101, an assault rifle outfitted with an ACOG scope. Also free is a brand new execution move, The Curb Check, which looks like this.

Yeah, that's pretty impressive.

Titanfall 2 will also be launching a couple of optional paid items if you're looking to beef up your game experience. Headlining the paid content are two Prime Titans, Northstar, and Legion, which look like this.

Also packed in with the premium content is some Titan Art, a Camo Pack, and a Callsign Pack. All of this content will launch next week on March 30th, which will also coincide with a free-to-play and Double XP weekend that will run starting March 30th and run through April 3rd. 

So if you've been looking for a reason to jump into Titanfall 2, a free weekend is the best possible way to do it.
