[Watch] Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon releases new trailer showing off the world beyond Alola, new Pokemon

The return to Alola draws ever closer for Pokemon fans, though frankly most of us never left. Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are shaping up to be an all-new adventure and a new trailer that was released earlier today (embedded above) showcases some of the new activities and places we will be doing and seeing, as well as an all-new Pokemon.

The new Pokemon designated UB Adhesive is an Ultra Beast and a pure Poison-type. Its actual name will likely remain a mystery until the full release, though it is easily the most adorable-looking Ultra Beast yet. Designs for the Ultra Beasts remain funky, as the trailer gave us another look at the other two new Ultra Beasts that were previously revealed, UB Burst and UB Assembly.

It also looks like there will be some sort of transition mini-game between the world of Alola and the world of the Ultra Beasts. At the outset of the trailer, there is gameplay footage of the protagonist riding on the back of Solgaleo and Lunala (Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon respectively) collecting light orbs. What the point of the mini-game is, remains to be seen, but it looks like a nice change of pace on the outside.

There is also a look at a new area, Ultra Megalopolis, which is a world where the prism Pokemon, Necrozma has stolen the light. Here we also see what might be the new bad guys, the Ultra Recon Squad, who come decked out in white armor and ready to battle.

All will be revealed when Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon release for Nintendo 3DS on November 17th, 2017.
