[WATCH] Kingdom Come: Deliverance gets teaser trailer promising “Global Announcement” next week

A release date perhaps?

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is simultaneously one of the most intriguing and expensive games ever to come out of crowdfunding. Even as its Kickstarter ended, fans have still been able to contribute funds to its development, and by all accounts, developer Warhorse Studios has put the funds to good use. One of the biggest lingering questions with Kingdom Come: Deliverance has been its final release date.

Recently, publisher Deep Silver posted a trailer on their YouTube channel which points to a "Global Announcement" coming on Friday, June 9th. Here is the trailer:

This is by no means a confirmation that a release date is coming, but there's little else from the game that would seemingly warrant such a tease. Thus, we'll just have to see what they have to say this Friday.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an open-world medieval RPG that eschews from fantasy elements like Magic and instead chooses to go for a more realistic, if not simulated approach. The game's Melee Combat stands as one of its core pillars, utilizing a plethora of different weapons, damage types as well as 30 different spots that players can attack an enemy.
