[Watch] Here’s 20 minutes of single player gameplay from Ghost Recon: Wildlands

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is the second of Ubisoft's two major releases coming in the first quarter of 2017 (the first being For Honor), and the company is getting players ready by revealing an all-new 20-minute look at the game's single player mode. Wildlands is known for its multiplayer co-op, so it seemed prudent for Ubisoft to show off what the game looked like if you were to play solo.

If you decide to go lone wolf in Ghost Recon: Wildlands, you will still have 3 A.I.-controlled companions that you will need to give direction to, but fortunately, it looks like you will not have to babysit them. Wildlands' designer, Dominic Butler narrates the video as you get a look at the game's combat, seamless day-night cycle, and dynamic weather system.

The open world is built similarly to that of past Ubisoft titles like Far Cry and Assassin's Creed with side-objectives and waypoints littering the map. It's safe to say that you should expect familiar design principles within the context of a third-person co-op shooter.
