[Watch] Destiny 2 gets incredible live action trailer directed by Kong: Skull Island director

Would it shock you if we said Destiny 2 was out in a less than a week? Although we've waited a few years for the highly anticipated sequel, it feels like it hasn't been that long since the game was revealed earlier this year.

Since then, we've gotten a handful of trailers and even a playable beta to tame our hunger for Bungie's sci-fi epic. Before the game launches next week, Bungie wanted to give us one last treat in the form of a really great live action trailer. The trailer blends humor with great action and cinematography to get players prepared for the fight for Earth next week.

The trailer is directed by Kong: Skull Island director Jordan Vogt-Roberts and shot by Ken Seng who worked on Deadpool. Vogt-Robers isn't unfamiliar with adapting video games into live action products as he is currently actively developing a live action Metal Gear Solid move.

You can view his latest work in the form of the new Destiny 2 trailer below.

Destiny 2 hits Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on Wednesday, September 6th. A PC version will follow on October 24th.
