Activision and DailyRadar Give Gamers A Chance to Take Home Some Heavy Metal

Santa Monica, CA – September 13, 2000 – To help players get medieval, Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) has organized two special promotions to support the launch of Wizards & Warriors slated to ship September 26th. Fans of the game can register to win a replica of a 16th century suit of plate armor at

or by buying the game and returning the enclosed sweepstakes card. In addition to the grand prize, one second place winner will take home a $200 gift certificate for the Ral Partha Publishing online store located at
www.ralgames.com . Ten third place winners will win an action pack of five Activision games. Registration for the sweepstakes will begin September 13 and go through October 31, with prize drawings set to take place by the end of November 2000. 

Additionally, Activision and DailyRadar.com will be giving gamers the opportunity to complete their ensemble with a chance to win one of three “magic” items from Wizards & Warriors. The grand prize for the promotion will be a full size reconstruction of the Mavin Sword, the key quest item from Wizards & Warriors’ epic story.
