Not to be outclassed by the deluge of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 character announcements, the new Mortal Kombat game has had two of its characters revealed in the latest issue of Game Informer Magazine. The two characters are Jade and Goro, the latter of which resides in his iconic lair and operates as a boss character in the game.
It’s not yet clear if Goro is a playable character, as he usually isn’t, but Jade definitely will be. Her boomerang makes a return and her look is said to be a mix of her outfits in previous games.
Ed Boon also remarked on the possibility of a counterpart to PS3’s Kratos character for the Xbox 360 version, though no definitive plans have been made. Marcus Fenix anyone?
