Tomb Raider will be playable at Comic-Con

Square Enix's upcoming Tomb Raider reboot will have the first public demo available at Comic-Con later this week in San Diego, California.

In an exclusive partnership with Microsoft and Xbox 360, Square Enix is a join sponsor of The Nerd Machine's Nerd HQ, with Tomb Raider as the main event. As such, the general public will get their first hands-on time with the highly anticipated game with Tomb Raider playable on more than 20 Xbox 360 machines.

In addition, there will be a ton of other Tomb Raider-related events at the event including a special Tomb Raider panel at Nerd Machine's Comic-Con headquarters, Tomb Raider-themed Xbox 360 sweepstakes, Tomb Raider cosplay event, and another panel that focuses on the re-imagining of Lara Croft. All attendees of the panels will receive a Tomb Raider lithograph that can be signed after the panel.

Other games that Square Enix will showcase are Sleeping Dogs, Kingdom Hearts 3D [ Dream Drop Distance], Heroes of Ruin, and Hitman: Absolution. These games will be available at several other booths in addition to the Square Enix booth.
