The Real World Gear of Breach

Atomic Games’ Breach is known more for its explosive environment destruction than its authenticity, but Atomic got its start as a developer of military simulators, so it makes sense that the game pulls in a bunch of real world spy gear to give the game some extra realism.

“The elite forces that conduct black operations are often behind enemy lines, out-numbered and trying to accomplish clandestine missions. They need specialized equipment to even the odds.” states a press release by Atomic Games. It continues, “The real-world gear seen in Breach is being used for these purposes by real operatives on real assignments right now, and many have never been available before in any military shooter.”

Here’s the full list of authentic spy gear featured in Breach:

Dragon Skin®
Sticky Bomb
Remote Motion Sensor
Bionic Ear
IR Sniper Detector
Bomb Sniffer
Sabotage Kit
M2 SLAM Charge
Medic Kit
M79 Pirate Cannon
Sonic Imager
