The Last Story has managed to rake in quite a fan base in Japan. Thus far, the action RPG has sold 114,722 units and counting. The game has been made available as a standalone title in both regular and collector’s editions, and a few copies of the game are being sold in a special Wii bundle.
With The Last Story selling so many copies in Japan and being an instant hit, is it possible that we’ll eventually see a North American localization? It’s too early to tell, but let’s hope Nintendo and developer Mistwalker see the potential in releasing this title outside of Japan.
