The music of Akaneiro is Japanese-influenced awesomeness

Developer Spicy Horse is hoping to capture some magic with its upcoming title Akaneiro: Demon Hunters. Due out on PC, Mac, Facebook, and Android tablets, the game takes the concept of Little Red Riding Hood and mixes in a high dose of action and Japanese influence.

The game's soundtrack in particular already sounds quite spectacular, offering a grand sound that's clearly influenced by traditional Japanese music. You can currently listen to three tracks from Akaneiro on Soundcloud as well as some insight on each song from composer Kian How, who's worked on projects such as Dishonored, Dust 514, EVE Online: Incarna, Spec Ops: The Line, Splatterhouse, and Test Drive Unlimited 2.

Akaneiro is set to feature action-RPG gameplay and stylized visuals. So far, the game is looking like quite the treat, and if you're digging what you're seeing and hearing, be sure to vote for it on Steam Greenlight.
