Today developers Capybara and Superbrothers and musician Jim Guthrie released their collaboration, Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP, on Steam for PC. The game currently costs $5.99 at a 25% discount (ending April 23).
Originally released for iOS devices last year, Sword & Sworcery won the Mobile Achievement in Art award at 2010's Independent Games Festival and has now completed its move to Steam. The action-adventure title tasks players with using "a sword to do battle & evoke sworcery to solve mystical musical mysteries."
Players now point-and-click with a two-button mouse to explore the mythic realm. Capybara in Toronto, Canada, re-engineered the game for PC, while Superbrothers provided artwork and designs and Jim Guthrie contributed a whole album of original music.
