Story-based Dragon Age II DLC Coming This Month

Speaking at the Summer Showcase today, EA announced that Dragon Age II will be receiving new DLC this month. The DLC, titled “Legacy,” is a story-driven expansion that will be available July 26 for Xbox 360, PC, Mac, and PlayStation 3.

Legacy will star the Hawke family, most notably the father who was unseen in DAII. The gameplay encourages tactical team-based combat that utilizes everyone’s abilities to survive. While little of this combat was shown in a demo at the event, EA made it very clear that the DLC will focus around working as a team.

EA also commented on the fact that there is a foe that not even “Grey Wardens would touch.” We will have to wait till July 26 to see just what that enemy is.
