Though we'll miss the giant controller of doom which came packaged with the original Steel Battalion, this new effort from Capcom (Heavy Armor) is looking quite sharp even without it. Though the cockpit view still feels a bit claustrophobic, it definitely reflects the strive towards realism the game pioneered for the genre, along with that faithful eject button (forget to press it, and consider your save game deleted!).
Still, we're desperately hoping for an adapter that will make our custom SB cockpit compatible with the new game. Get on it Capcom!
