Realistic, modern, armor sim rates high with actual tankers.

Cary, NC, June 2, 2000

Shrapnel Games, and developer eSim Games, announced today that SteelBeasts, a modern tank simulation featuring the M1A1 and the
Leopard 2A4, surpassed the 50,000 download milestone for it’s engaging demo. To download this quick look at the hottest armor
sim of the year just point your browser to

Steel Beasts is a tank simulation set in modern times that allows
you to take it to the former Warsaw Pact forces in either the M1A1 or the Leopard 2A4. Included with this are modeling for artillery,
smoke, mine fields, and much more. To round out the package you will be able to play the game versus others with full multiplayer support
and design your own maps and missions with the included editors.

The demo itself is limited to one mission, a limited editor, and the
full set of tutorials from the full game

Tim Brooks, President of Shrapnel Games, said, “This is the quickest
that one of our demos has hit the 50,000 download milestone. It has been available for less than 10 days! If demo downloads are any gauge
to sales, Steel Beasts is going to be a huge hit.”

Arnesen, Director of Covert Operations for Shrapnel Games added “We have heard from several US Army tankers who say that this simulation
is right on. It accurately models the M1A1 and far surpasses anything that has been available to date.”

In addition, the Steel Beasts Demo has been ranked as high as 46th on for all games, not just simulations.

Steel Beasts is available for pre-release ordering at Shrapnel Games’
